Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
from the US. She previously worked as an anchor for TV on ABC News. Her roles
as co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host of The
View (2015-2018) are famous. Prior to that she was co-anchor of America This
Morning (World News Now) as well as America This Morning (America This
Morning). After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs
including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio.
Due to limited TV opportunities, she worked in sales for radio. She was
recruited to work as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant, and later was promoted
to anchor and reporter. She was the weekend anchor and weekday sports anchors
for WCPO TV, Cincinnati, from 2002 until. The contract was canceled and she was
hired as a reporter and anchor for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from
November 2005 through December 2011. In December 2011, she was appointed by ABC
News the news division of ABC. The first time she appeared on the network for
its World News Now and America This Morning on January 2 2012. She also
appeared on Good Morning America's fill in program, Good Morning America, on
January 2, 2012. Then she was made a New York-based correspondent for all ABC
News programs. The last show she appeared on was World News Now and America
This Morning was on January 22nd, 2013. On August 9, 2014 she was announced as
the co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend, after the departure of Bianna
Golodryga. The latter was transferred to Yahoo! News. On August 25, 2015, ABC
announced she would join The View as a co-host for season 19. On August 3 on
the 3rd of August, 2016, it was announced that they renewed her contract until
the end of its 20th season. Season 21 was also the first season she was renewed
as cohost. She was most visible in the 22nd and 21st seasons of the series.
