Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. Her most famous work is her roles as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara The Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. The actress is also famous for her character as The Armorer in the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also an integral part of the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18th, 1979. She grew-up in Sterling, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida. When she was at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville the actress began performing in a variety of college, amateur professional, and amateur theatre productions. Swallow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She pursued her studies towards an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. The show was the world premiere of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse, opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins in the production of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre,[citation needed] and in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. In the year 2010 she won the Falstaff Award as best female actor for her performance in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show revolves around the hilarious mishaps of Swallow and Jac Huberman in their battle with very different issues in their lives to various degrees of success.
