Watts was born 28 September 1968. When her family moved to Australia in the
early 1980s, Watts made her film film debut in For Love Alone (1986). She later
appeared on three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990) as well as Brides of Christ(91)
as well as Home and Away (91), and Flirting (1991). Watts was an unpromising
actress when she first came to the United States. She acted in films with a
small budget and then was a professional actress. Her rise to fame on the
international stage was brought about by this role. Watts then portrayed a
tortured journalist in the horror remake The Ring (2002). Because of her
performance as a grieving mother , in the Alejandro film 21 Grams, she was

nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The
Impossible (2012) as Maria Bennett. In the decade of 2010, Watts starred in
films like Birdman (2014) St. Vincent (2014) St. Vincent (2015), While We're
Young (2016), The Glass Castle (2017) and Luce (2018). Watts was also a regular
actor in blockbusters, and made appearances in the Divergent franchise
(2015-2016).
