Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. She began her career in productions for television and film such as
"Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she
produced projects such as Double Dare (1976). She has also appeared on TV
programs such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and
Electra Woman (2000). Her most famous TV part was "Christine
Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). She was featured in an entire 156
episodes of this show between 1984 and 1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her
daughter. She was a poet and noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman
Post (November 14 1918 until April 7, 2015). Alongside her second husband
Michael A. Ross, she had two children: Katie Ross (born June 26 1986) and Daisy
Ross (30 March 1990). Was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut
Creek, California. As an athletics coach, she attended Las Lomas High School
located in Walnut Creek. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon
awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a trick roper on The Wildest
West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her ashes returned to
Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months
away from her 71st birthday date on November 4 2021, died on August 7. She was
27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) which was her co-star , who
died on July 11 in 2020. Though they were two completely different shows, Night
Court (1984), where she was the lead was cancelled in 1992, with Christine
Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992), in which Post took on
a new role, Georgie Lahti (who actually had been employed in Washington DC
before moving to smaller areas) started in 1992.
