Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress from Canada. She was a part of Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010. She was a star from 2009 until 2010. She played Annika Johnson in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos has starred in the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. playing Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. After she was born, her family relocated to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is very attached to her Greek heritage and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting at the age of junior high school and studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and within a few weeks, she was offered her first television role, a small part on Supernatural. She appeared on television for a few more years and was offered roles on Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was in the TV movie Goblin and in the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also played a recurring part on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first starring role in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. She made her feature film debut in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and filmed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-helmed horror, Kill for Me, featuring Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags, a Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos was then offered the part of the lead in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor in a dystopian society) which aired on NBC television. She auditioned while attending her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filming the pilot was in Atlanta as well as the first season in Wilmington. The actress was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance in the pilot season but was beaten out by Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna. The second season saw production moved to Austin Texas.
