Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice acting were also used for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance during her youth and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by appearing as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to be a guest star on shows such as Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March to November 2007, she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. Other theater credits include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching was also a guest on several roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. Also, she was a regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also played the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was finally shown in the trailer for the story shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching would play the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
