Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett is an actress from Canada. She is well-known for her roles as Kari in movies such as "Apartment Hunting", "Men with Brooms", and "The Tree of Life." Born and raised in Spalding, Saskatchewan, she later relocated to Alberta, Canada, from where she attended high school. Acting was something she learned about during her teens. She attended the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Then she attended the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996, she was in an supporting role in the Canadian series 'The Rez. In 1996, she was a supporting role in the series from Canada called 'The Rez.' In the latter part of 1990 when she made her debut in film in the form of the film "Papertrail" and then acted in films like "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played supporting roles in series' such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and  Blue Murder.' While she continued to appear in movies throughout the decade however, her appearances in films were less than the roles she played on television. She was also the main actress in the 1998 Canadian drama series called 'Power Play. The series ran for 26 episodes and earned both commercial and critical praise. The actress was nominated for a  Gemini Award' for her role in the show. Jude Lyon Matchett was her first child. However, she didn't divulge the name of her son's father. According to some sources her ex-boyfriend is the father of her son. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and Kari Matchett in the late 1990s. They began dating and were married in 1998. The couple divorced in 2006 following their marriage was broken in the middle of the year.
