2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. He is an Georgia native, and formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle with a friend from high school. The group's debut album, 'Supply & Demand It was not a huge success. Epps released his album 'Based On a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was a huge success, debuting at number 1 on the US Billboard 200. Within the first week of release, it sold 147,000 copies! Ever since the success of the album, there's been no looking back for him and he rose to become one of the top hip-hop artists in the US. He has been nominated for six Grammy categories, of which one was won by "No Problem." When he was discovered to have marijuana and promethazine in his luggage, he was escorted off a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. This caused controversy. But his brush with the law hasn't impacted his popularity. His fourth and latest studio album 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' released in June 2017. Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz’s first studio album, could be described as his debut work as well as his most popular. The album was a great success. It climbed to the top of the US Billboard 200 and sold 147,000 copies in less than a week. It ultimately sold 623,000 copies throughout the year. The album had hit singles including "No Lie' and 'Birthday Song. I'm Different was also nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. Most reviews were negative. 2 Chainz married Kesha Wade in 2013. The couple are proud parents to three children Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He has a very successful career, but the man is also famous for his mistakes with the law. He has been arrested many times for possession of drugs.
