Adam G. Sevani Bio

Adam G. Sevani, born June 29, 1992 is an American actor/dancer. He is best known for his portrayal of Robert Alexander III / Moose on the Step Up film series. Sevani was in Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) which was the second installment of the Step Up film series. The film focused on a group of students who form a dance team and fight in the streets. Sevani's portrayal of Robert "Moose" Alexander III was praised by critics, such as The New York Times, for portraying a character who "might be the most sexiest geek in film history". The film received mixed praise and went on to gross more than $150 million in the world. For his role in the film, Sevani received the "Best Scene Stealer" award at the 2008 Young Hollywood Awards. Sevani was confirmed in May 2009 to play the role of Moose in the third film. Filming took place in New York City on a $30 million budget. The film, Step Up 3D, revolves around Moose and his best friend Camille Alyson Stoner moving to New York to start University and Sevani's character becomes caught up in the underground dance scene. The film came out in August of 2010 to mixed reviews from reviewers. The film had grossed more than $159million worldwide as of August 2012. Sevani was in Step Up Revolution, the fourth installment of the series, in July 2012. In 2014, Sevani reprised his role of Moose as Step Up: All In the fifth installment in the Step Up film series. In August 2010, Sevani was confirmed to play the role in the American remake of the 2008 French film LOL (Laughing Out Loud), alongside Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore and Ashley Greene. The film centers around Cyrus getting her senior year over at high school. The film was released in limited quantities in the United States in the month of May. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
